As much as I wish I was sleeping right now I thought I had to blog before I head on to my vacation tomorrow! I'm so excited, but at the same time I'm a little sad. With lots of friends competing in the Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen pageant, I have attended the page to cheer on my friends for the last 3 years. This year I am missing it and it makes me sad. I always enjoy seeing everyone and chatting with friends I have made through the system. I have also loved supporting my friends! Yesterday, I went to the arrival and let me just say the Stuttgart girls are stunning. I hope and pray that this year will be a great year at MAOT for the Stuttgart girls! I honestly can't believe that I'm missing it. The arrival was great. Full of lots of great fashion and color. I'm just going to say that I am so proud of all my friends.
Now I am a little more proud of one of my best friends, Hannah Oliver. Han, I can't believe I won't be there to support you this year. And guess what? Because I am not you are going to do great. That is just the way the world works. You have come such a long way since your first year competing and I have a great confidence that you are going to be better than ever this year. I am so thankful for your support and please know I'll be supporting from all those miles away. So sorry for the mess up with the encouragement text today, but I am hope you will remember this week that...
You are incredible.
I know God has great plans for you! I am just so glad I get to watch the whole thing unfold. I'll be praying and thinking about you a lot! Go out and be the best you you can be!
To everyone competing, have fun because that is all that is going to matter when you look back. It's not going to matter if your hair was perfect or if your abs were noticeable. All that's going to matter is the real smile on your face. That is all people are really truly going to notice. Don't make it fake. Make it real because that is what this is all about! I can't wait to see who will be representing this great state! I sure know the judges have a lot of great girls to chose from.
I hope this week is nothing but fun and I hope you all remember how thankful for are for every little thing. It will make all the difference! Now, it's all in God's hands... Thank him no matter what!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
