The high today was officially 90 degrees and with that I said goodbye to the warmest winter I can ever remember.
I would just like to say that I prayed every night for a snow day, and I am a tad bitter I did not get one. I mean halfway into the winter season I knew it was going to have to be a miracle, but I believe in miracles so I was sure it was going to happen since we had so many days last winter. It will take me a while to recover from not having a snow day...stay tuned.
Yesterday when I got back to campus I packed up all my winter things to take back home and I was a little disappointed because I had tons of great winter things I never got to really wear because it was so hot in Texas this winter. I mean I have felt like the semester was ending all semester because the weather has been so warm and usually that doesn't happen till the end. It makes me a little nervous how the summer is going to be, especially for my small little town that is full of farmers. I am going to go ahead and add that to my prayer list because I know how important that is to so many people. Feel free to join me!
As sad I was to pack up my winter clothes, I am so looking forward to warmer weather. I also am having such a hard time believing how fast everything is going. In less than 2 months I will be a junior in college. Things have got to slow down like pronto.
Here's hoping your week started out in the best way possible.
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
