It is official December 2nd and that means that TCU was official lighting the tree and kicking off the Holiday season! I had heard from some upperclassmen that the TCU Christmas Tree lighting was such a great tradition here at TCU! I, who loves a good Christmas Tree, was very excited to see this beauty all lit up! The tree is in the middle of the commons and it is surrounded by lots of other decorations and lights throughout the courtyard and the campus. It is really such a pretty sight and with the tree shining bright, TCU would be number one for Christmas decorations for sure! Right before they lit the tree, it was announced on TV that TCU had moved to number 3 in the final 4 and the campus went crazy. You could already feel the energy because of the Christmas Tree lighting, but this really set it over the top. We are all so excited!! These of course are just the predictions, but Sunday they will be official and things are looking pretty good for TCU! So I bet you can guess what rhymes with tree... Yes, that would be the number 3!!!! They had hot chocolate, reindeer, super frog santa, and much more. It was really cool because everyone was basically all together celebrating this exciting news along with feeling the Christmas spirit. It was such a great moment! I can't imagine any better feeling. I am thankful to be at TCU, I am thankful for being number 3, and I am thankful for that beautiful Christmas Tree!!! So many blessings that have made today a day to remember!! I can't wait to keep celebrating Christmas and celebrating ALL that is TCU! It was a good day to be a horned frog... That I am thankful for!
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love.
