Yesterday was a very interesting day because we had a home game at 11 a.m. meaning we had to start tailgating around 9 and had to get up at like 8. For college kids on a Saturday, that is nearly impossible. In fact, I just fell asleep writing this. Still recovering. It was a very interesting day because it really just through my whole schedule off. I took a nap late yesterday afternoon, and then I couldn't go to sleep. November is hitting me hard, and I really need Thanksgiving Break ASAP.
Yesterday was pretty successful though because I had my Vineyard Vines event at the Beta Tailgate. As Vineyard Vines Whale rep, it is my job to put on one event per semester. At these events I give out a ton of great Vineyard Vines stuff that they send to me. I was a little worried about the game being so early because I wasn't sure how many people would show up to tailgate. Luckily it was a pretty good crowd and I got to give out all sorts of great Vineyard Vines products to excited TCU fans. Huge shoutout to my cool friend Caroline (Carol for short) who helped me carry my boxes to the tailgate early and took all sorts of photos for me while I passed out the gear. She even got some of her friends to come just to get some great Vineyard Vines stuff. Thanks Carol, you rock!!
The coolest thing about having this Vineyard Vines tailgate was seeing all the bright pink whale hats at the game. Lots of people even made it on the big screen because of them. So cool seeing one of my favorite brands all over one of my favorite places.
Prayers please that I can make it through this busy week that is fast approaching. Lots going on with the semester coming to a close. Tomorrow I enroll in classes for next semester, which is always really crazy and usually stressful. Prayers please!! I just need everything to work out. I also have a big research paper due Thursday that is taking a lot of time and attention of mine. I hope you all have a great week! Remember to stay thankful during the craziness. That is what is going to help me make it to Thanksgiving break!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
