Tonight was very interesting to say the least! Tomorrow is game day which for all us students, we have to move our cars for all the people that have tailgate spots. This is always kind of annoying because you have to move it to some lot far away and then you don't have your car for the weekend. The dorm I live in is really nice because we have our own parking lot. They have a few select spots that if you park there, you don't have to move your car on game day. I love this because that means I don't have to move my car, but it also isn't very helpful because if you move your car, you have no way of knowing if you will get that spot when you come back. So, once I got my car in one of those spots, I refused to move it. Tonight, me and some friends in the dorm really wanted coke icee's, but none of us wanted to move our cars. We ended up deciding that I would sit in the parking spot while they went and got the ice's. So yep, that is what I did. I laid in that parking spot and looked at the stars. It was cold, my phone died right when I got out there, and it was very awkward when people wanted to park there. It was kind of funny because they would get so excited because there was a good spot open and then I'd roll up and just be waving with a smile on my face. So so sorry LOL! These are the kind of memories that college is all about making. I love when things like this happen. I am so thankful when things like this happen. Take advantage of all that life has to offer because in the end, it makes the best memories. I got a good look at the stars, a good icee, and great memories from this Friday night. Doing the randomest things make the best times in life... don't forget that and be thankful for it because that's what we are here to do! Have a great weekend full of life and thanks!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
