So today was my first experience with bid day for girls! I know at every school it is different, but I was really happy to see where some of my friends ended up. I have heard the recruitment week is brutal for them so I know that today is what many of them had been working and losing sleep over for some time. I'd like to extend a special shoutout to my friends who got what they wanted and have found a new sisterhood that will be faithful long after college days. I really had no role in today, but I am so thankful that my friends are happy. It is good to think about others. No one likes a conceded person. I always talk about things I am thankful for because they typically effect me in some way, but today I am thankful for watching and getting to see the excitement and love in the eyes of many fellow TCU frogs. Congratulations to you all! I know you are so thankful for your new home wherever it may be.
I'd still love prayers about the whole college thing... Adjustment can be a little difficult at times, but thanks to that great man looking out for me I know everything will work out. Remember this weekend to look around and be thankful for something that doesn't affect you. Thanks is meant to be used in many ways!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way. I pray God has a grand purpose for me and I plan to get there with a little Southern and a lot of Thanks! Join me!
