It's over. Praise the Lord my first round of tests are over. I can't really say that they were 100% successful, but I can say I did my best and THEY ARE OVER. You all have to understand that I struggle with test taking. It is really hard for me. I still have an essay due, but I would take an essay over a test any day. I am just thankful I can somewhat relax!
When I got back to my room today I walked in the door and immediately saw something that made the stress of taking multiple tests go away. Yes, I spotted the tub of homemade chocolate chip cookies my mom brought me over family weekend. I had kind of forgotten about them to be honest. I brought in a lot of hanging things on Sunday along with the cookies she brought me. Between that and needing to study I kind of forgot I even had them. I wish I would have remembered because they would have been a perfect study snack, but I believe they were an even better after tests celebration snack. Though life may get hard, this should remind you all that something sweet is always around the corner!
Thanks for the cookies Mom... Love them and love you!
You all will have to excuse the short post tonight. I do have to write an essay, which means I should probably save some of my words and writing for the thing that is going to be graded. I hope you go right now and make some chocolate chip cookies and remember to be thankful for the sweet moments in life!
Also, came across this earlier on Facebook and loved the compassion Jamie Lee Curtis has for being thankful. It really is important! Check this out:
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love.
