This time of year is crazy for everyone in general. It is especially crazy for college students who are working hard to end the semester AND who will then work even harder to ace their finals. A lot is going on around TCU and many of us are ready to be done with this semester! Because things are just crazy some people could not make today's Monday at TCU tour. In fact, it was the last one of the semester! Crazy, huh?
Anyways because we were missing the normal amount of tour guides many of us had to do the tours alone. I have never done a tour on my own. I like having a partner because when you have someone else the two of you can usually work together to cover everything that visitors need to know! Last semester I remember I was so scared to do a tour alone, but you know what they say... practice makes perfect. For a second when I found out I was giving a tour alone today I was waiting for myself to freak out... I waited... I waited some more.... But I never really freaked out. Could be because I exhausted all of my nerves yesterday(Sunday) during the slating process or it could be because I know what I am doing when it comes to giving tours! I think I was actually kind of excited to give it alone for the first time because I was completely in control! My group was kind of big, but I was still really pleased with how everything went. I really hope they enjoyed the tour!
Hard to believe I started giving tours at the beginning of 2015 and now the year is almost over. I have so many great memories from giving tours! And with that being said I look forward to many more in 2016!
I hope you all felt confident about something you did today! I am telling you it makes a world of a difference! That is something to be thankful for this Monday!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
