Whew what a day it has been. This morning my mom, dad, and I left Stuttgart to make our way to the big city of Fort Worth. Of course we took two cars and I drove with my mom the whole way. Long long day (thanks dad for driving alone). I was feeling very good, but I must say leaving Stuttgart was more challenging than I expected. Once we are arrived, we literally weren't here less than 5 minutes, we got off the interste and made our way to the hotel and a women who was not paying attention to her surroundings went to make a u-turn and hit me and my mom in an attempt to change lanes. Let me first say that we are all okay an d that is why I am so thankful tonight. I know lots of people who would much rather have been in my shoes. Things could have been so much worse! My car is damaged. My passenger front door can't be opened and the right side is pretty messed up. I am so so sad because that is a new car and it is not what I had planed for this first night in a new city. God's plan and mine seem to always be different, but his always seems to be better. With the wave of emotions from today and then that, I had a little bit of a hard time. I pray that tomorrow is better and that this is no indication as to what it's going to be like here. My car will be fixed and life will go on. God, I am trusting your plan and I will not let the devil have what we wants. He knows I'm scared and he knows I'm nervous. He used this little "Welcome to Fort Worth" as a way to weaken me. As hard as it is, I will not let him!!! I am so thankful for safety today. Prayers for a good day tomorrow please!!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love.
