Yesterday seemed to be all about organization... or at least for me. I have always been a very organized person. It's a gift and a curse all at the same time. Around this time of year, everything starts to get busy. Life seems to step up a pace or two from the easy going feel of summer. Plans are being made, football season is right around the corner, and school is the one thing no on wants to talk about. But it is coming, whether we like it or not.
One necessity for an organized brain like mine is a good planner/calendar. I mean, I write all up in and around that thing. I really don't think I could function without mine. I ordered a perfect one from a company called Papersource . They seriously have some of the best and neatest things. If you need anything from invitations to notebooks... they have it all. I was very pleased with my planner when it arrived. Naturally...I spent a large portion of last night filling that thing in.
1. Birthday's/ Special Dates
2. Football Game Dates
3. Fraternity Life
4. TCU Events
5. Days of "No Class" ***very important
6. Anything and Everything else
Of course, my planner will continue to fill as the year goes by, but I had to start it with all of the essentials.
I also was working at Coker Hampton yesterday and we got in the cutest Lilly Pulitzer planners/calendars. Seriously love them!! Y'all should check them out on their Instagram... @cokerhampton
I hope you find the perfect way to stay organized as the summer winds down. Everyone does that different I know, but all that matters is that you make sure and get organized. Even if you are trying to avoid the thought of being back in the swing of things. I promise a cool planner will make the pain of it a little bit easier to bare. I am sure thankful for my planner today, and I am sure I will be throughout the year. With a good planner, and a thankful heart, you can conquer any busy year!!
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
