I am SO confused. It is over 70 degrees outside, but tomorrow is February. Is the world ending? Am I looking at my calendar wrong? You tell me because I am really not getting what is going on!! This is not me complaining because we all know the second it gets too cold outside I will be complaining. I just don't understand what mother nature is doing, I mean TBH I am really praying hard for a snow day or multiple snow days, but at this point I do not really see that happening anytime soon. I should be used to it, but this weather is a tad crazy. I am probably really exaggerating, so I apologize, but I just don't get it. (If you cant tell).
Anyways when its January, but 70 degrees out you have to act like its June. I wore shorts and short sleeves today. I tried my hardest to send a majority of my time outside because I just know this weather will quickly be gone. So what do you do when it feels like it's almost summer? You get ice cream! S/o to my friend Caroline for giving up her parking spot to drive us to go get ice cream because why not? There are some safe times to leave the Greek parking lot because those times are times you know you will have a spot when you get back. There are times where the odds of you getting a spot are slim. Those are times you don't typically leave. Caroline left in one of those non safe times which was really nice of her. Thanks for being my friend Carol!
If you are a fan of summer I highly suggest you soak in the weather out because it is too late and winter is in full force. Get ice cream, go to the park, jump in a pool... whatever you want! You will be thankful... I hope! ;)
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
