All my life I have been an Arkansas Razorback fan and just recently I have become a TCU Horned Frog fan! So we joke and say I am always a Hog, but now also a Frog! For those of you sport fans, you know how the day went for the Razorbacks and the Frogs! Both were very good games, but not good enough! I would have loved to be at the TCU vs. Baylor game, but with it being fall break I of course wanted to be home. The part of the game I saw on TV the frogs were on fire and then when I was keeping up with them on my phone I was freaking out! I can't imagine what it would have been like at the game. In the very final minutes Baylor came back and beat TCU by a field goal. Meanwhile, I got to go to the Arkansas vs. Alabama game today and though it wasn't as exciting, it also ended with a heart break. Arkansas lost 14-13. It was heart break all around, but it's okay because the best things in life aren't perfect. Football in the South is one of the best things about fall and I am so thankful for that. Win or lose it is still fun to be part of college football. Even though we as fans have a really small part in game, we all know we feel like our role is HUGE. I am thankful to have teams to support and I am always thankful for Saturdays in the South. Good food! Family! Friends! Yelling! Stomping! And even the heart break makes for a great day! I am thankful for to be a hog, and also now a frog!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
