You know its been a good day when you take off the sunglasses and you have that traditional sunglass tan! Today, I am thankful for a good game day down south. The only regret I have is not looking at the weather before I got dressed... I wore a long sleeve button down, jeans, and boots. This was a good outfit, but not for 80 degree weather. So yes, there was a time during the day that I didn't think I would be able to make it out alive, but as the sun set my personality came back up! It is funny how heat effects us! I love the student section because there are so many friends and so many happy frog fans. Everyone at TCU is obviously different, but for those 4 quarters we are all the same. I always seem to have a really good seat which is always fun and I also always seem to meet some cool people. Today, we played OSU and beat them!! They didn't even score a touchdown, they had 9 points all from there kicker. It was also a good game day because Baylor lost and so did OU, making us look even better. Everyone was pretty excited when they announced that news!! Even though I have a sunburn and the sun basically melted me in the beginning, I am thankful for today/game day! It brings out the best in people and it brings out the best of the fans. Of course game day is different, but all that matters is that we all support and love the same school and team. It is fun to be thankful for such great things like today. Always take that into consideration! Here's to today, homecoming 2014, and being a TCU horned frog. There is nothing better to be thankful for!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
