Today, after a couple of weeks, I was surprised when I got an e-mail saying that I had a package to pick up. I have blogged about it before, but incase you didn't know, I love getting packages. This package was from my sweet mother wishing me good luck this week. I have some pretty big tests and just overall a busy week so I was very excited to get this to start off my week just right. I have a criminal justice test tomorrow, a musical theater test on thursday, and a beta test on sunday. It is very important that I do well on these because I need some good grades. The package I received was nothing big, but it was just right. It had a sweet card, my Southern and Thankful socks that I left at home, some candy, and a new Southern Trend shirt. I was very happy to get this... It honestly came at the right moment. The timing was perfect and it was something that I like to call "a day maker." That is just simply something that makes your day. It can be big. It can be small. It can be serious. It can be silly. It can be food. It can be a good laugh. It can be whatever you want it to be. That is why it is so awesome. Today, I am thankful for day makers! Of course, I am thankful for them everyday, but when you need one bad, that is the best time to receive one. So thank you mom for being the best and making me day ten times better. I really do love you for that! Be thankful for the things that make your day... where would you be without them? They can turn a bad day around quick or they can make a good day great! Don't take something as nice as this for granted... be thankful! I would love some prayers as I study and go through this crazy week. I am trying to remain confident and positive, but you all know just as well as I do that it is easier said then done. I appreciate the thoughts and prayers more than you know! I hope everyone looks for the day makers and I hope you are always thankful for them, like me! Thanks again Mom...What would I do without ya?
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
