Happy Super Bowl Sunday friends and family! I hope you have had a great day watching! What a milestone... 50 years! That sure is something to be proud of! And what a great game! I was personally for the Broncos from the beginning because a little over a year ago I actually got to attend a Broncos game in Denver. Such an incredible experience. I cannot even imagine the energy and vibe in the stadium tonight. I am sure it was intensely awesome. I just watched the game today from the Beta house, but it was still a good time.
Also, can we talk about that half time show. SO cool. The fact that 3 musicians from all different genres can come together for an incredible performance like that blows my mind. I was very surprised at how well it all worked out. I really liked the message/theme of the performance
"Believe in Love"
I think this world is filled with so much hate and often because of the media that is all you see and hear about. A school shooting here... A war over there. All that negativity is not healthy for our world. The fact that those 3 artists could collaborate and send that message at the biggest most watched football game of the year makes me very thankful. They have such a presence and I admire how they use that to make this world a better place. I also really appreciated how Peyton Manning answered his first questions as the game ended on the field. He listed off several things he was going to do after the game and one of them was thank his God. I mean what else could I have asked for from this Super bowl 50?!
Take these lessons from the super bowl and have an awesome week. Believe in love and thank God. I couldn't have done it better myself. Thankful for a fun time this super super bowl Sunday!
Also, per the photo below I was very thankful/happy to make it just in time to join my friends on stage tonight ;)
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
