Today has been full of two big smiles.
1. I had the opportunity to volunteer at Kinderfrogs
2. It is currently snowing so hard out and school is cancelled
I am sure many of you don't know what Kinderfrogs is. I had never been before, but I have heard lots of great things about it. It is a local on campus school for children with down syndrome. They have a great staff and it is also used for those who are pursuing education to learn in an actual environment. TCU does it's best to provide wonderful experiences and that is something I find so special about this place. I got to play with some of the coolest kids, eat snacks, read stories, and much more. It was a pretty fun time! We did it for one of my classes and I am so glad that we did. I will defiantly make a trip make there in the fear future because they make any day so bright.
Earlier today the University announced that it would be closed tomorrow and then tonight it started to snow so hard. I love the snow, but this is really not the best time. I am supposed to fly home tomorrow night (Thursday) and I am really hoping the weather doesn't get in the way of that. Either way it was still fun to play in all the snow. It has been coming down for the last couple of hours and it is beautiful. I wish I had a picture to really show who awesome it is.
I am super tired and have a big day ahead of me tomorrow. Please pray for a productive day and a safe trip home. I am so so ready to be back in the place I love the most. I am so thankful for the things in life that make the best smiles!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way. I pray God has a grand purpose for me and I plan to get there with a little Southern and a lot of Thanks! Join me!
