I started the morning off at 7:45 a.m. with a smile on my face and purple in my heart because today was another Monday at TCU! I love giving tours as you all know, but today was extra fun for a few reasons.
1. The weather was perfect. It was a little chilly, but after all these months in the heat I am thankful for some chilly weather. I so enjoyed walking around campus in the morning with such great weather. When we give tours they are always better with good weather. Everyone is always in a much happier spirit. Thank God for chilly weather!
2. My usual co couldn't make it today, but boy did I have a nice fill in. One of my best friends, Landon, wanted to give a tour with me so today worked out perfectly. Landon, thanks for filling in, being a great friend, and teaching me a thing or two about TCU. You are a special guy! Thank God for Landon.
3. Last week we got official Student Foundation half-zip fleeces and they couldn't have come at a better time. They were perfect this morning on that chilly tour! People were complimenting me on mine all day long and it is so comfy. Thank God for half zips.
4. My group only had 3 prospective students today, which is unusually small, but I loved it. I felt like I was able to engage in and really answer questions that they had. We also had a really cool alumni in our tour with her daughter and she was sharing all these cool facts about TCU when she went to school here. Such a fun thing to have her with us today. Thank God for a great group.
I love Monday's at TCU. I am thankful for Monday's at TCU. It is as plain and simple as that!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way. I pray God has a grand purpose for me and I plan to get there with a little Southern and a lot of Thanks! Join me!
