I am attempting to write this as fast as possible because it is quite possible that I could fall asleep any second, but being tired was so worth it because last night was Beta Big/Little Reveal and I HAVE A LITTLE!!!
Yesterday was an all around great day, but I was so excited to celebrate adding a new member to the family last night. I wasn't on the recruitment team, which means I didn't get to know a lot of the freshman betas as quickly as I would have liked, which then made it hard to form a good connection with a potential little. I was actually really stressed about it, but in the end I decided to give it all to God because I knew He would work it out. And man did He! I am super pumped to be a friend, mentor, and big to a super cool dude from California! Brent is such a great addition to the fam! Sam and I are so pumped to have him! I love how God just worked that all out. I look forward to lots of fun times! Speaking of fun times, after the reveal last night a bunch of us planned to go Winstar Casino in Oklahoma! It is about an hour and thirty minutes away from TCU, but it is always a good time. I was glad we could all go as a group and celebrate this cool day! I It was kind of weird because I felt like just yesterdaySam and I am were doing big little. It is weird being a big, but I am super excited to grow with Brent over the next couple of years!
Needless to say, I am thankful that everything worked out the way it was supposed to! We went and lost some money in Oklahoma, I went to bed at 4 a.m., went to watch TCU destroy Texas at 10 a.m., and now I am VERY ready for bed! I have a test on Monday and a tour so prayers would be greatly appreciated since I haven't had a lot of time to study this weekend. I am kind of worried, but I studied a little last week and I will have to hit the books hard tomorrow. I appreciate the prayers anytime! College is hard sometimes, but at the same time so rewarding. I wouldn't change it for anything!
I am thankful to expand the fam with the coolest little, spontaneity, and horned frog football!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
