Well ladies and gentalmen, I am officially done with my classes and I have almost survived the first semester of college! I'm not gonna get excited just yet because I still have to make it through finals, but today was the last day of classes and man does that feel good. If you didn't know, I love Netflix. The trill of starting a show and watching it from the beginning to end for however long you want is thrilling to me. Netflix is also a bad distraction for me, but at times I find it is when I am the most relaxed. This summer, I told myself that I was not going to watch any Netflix this whole semester because I didn't want it to be a distraction during this new time. Today, classes ended and I bet you can guess what I did tonight? Yep, hello netflix! I can't believe I went this whole semester without it! It feels good to be back in my happy place... My gray blanket and Netflix is all I need to be there. Tonight, before I went to my happy place, I got sweet Sammie's with some friends and realized the last time I was there was before the semester started. CRAZY I KNOW! It has gone my so fast. Today, I am thankful for a little celebration of classes being over and I am thankful for the happiness today has brought me. I will now hit the books and take finals head on. These next two days are dead days, which means the campus is shut down basically forcing everyone to study. I have a final on Friday morning at 10 (my first college final actually). I have been studying, but tomorrow I really need to have a good study day so if you would just keep me in your prayers over the next couple of days it would be much appericated!!! Be thankful for your happy place and/or happy things. They make us happy for a reason... Don't forget to use those to your advantage and at the end of the day be thankful for that! Happy and Thankful today; happy and thankful always!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way. I pray God has a grand purpose for me and I plan to get there with a little Southern and a lot of Thanks! Join me!
