It is currently 12:55 am on July 7th, but let it be known that this post is technically for July 6th! Which is a special day because today (technically yesterday) is my birthday! I love birthdays! I love them so so much! But they come and go so fast and at the end of the day it gets kind of sentimental. It always seems to happen. Thinking about how fast I've grown and all the good memories (basically not being young) makes me sad. I think it's also because so many things are sentimental this time of year because I'm about to leave and start college. But I have to tell myself this happens to everyone! A favorite quote comes to mind, "Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened." This is so true and it is something everyone should remember in times of sadness. I'm thankful today for my family and friends who made today and the past 18 years so hard to leave behind! I have THE BEST support system and I have loved all of today. Annual French toast breakfast, time on the lake, lunch, gifts, time with friends, and more has made today a 10 in my books. Also, thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday. Just telling someone Happy Birthday makes anyone's day. I love the past 18 years, I love today, and I will love the next many. Thank you Lord for July 6, 1995-present.
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
