Today was a good day...a day that I had been praying about for some time now. In life there are ALWAYS things that we try so hard to control, but you and I both know that God is the only one in control. Today, it was what I thought was an unanswered prayer. Not anything too serious, and not anything all that scary...but it was something that I had been worrying about for some time. I always try so hard to work everything out and make things perfect, but I am learning that I've got to let God take that. The hard part is standing by, being patient, and waiting to see what God's plan is. It's the hard thing for all of us to do, no matter what situation we are in! It is these times...times of uncertainty, when we should be focusing our eyes on Him. It is also in these times that we can allow the devil in...and boy can he work on us. Then, like today, we see God was at work the whole time, making the situation even better than I could've done with all my planning. This is something I am going to really try to remember this year!
Thank you to those who have prayed for me! At some point I will talk more about this answered prayer that I thought was "unanswered". For now, you should just know that God is good and that he always hears us...we just might not see it work out the way we thought it would.

Be thankful for the unanswered prayers in life.... They are important and special in their own way! I am sure thankful that one big one of mine has been answered!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
