On the last day of this month, in the last hour, I can't help but be thankful for this month. Not only is June one of my favorite parts of the year, but I love June because it is really the first of summer and it is so carefree and fun. Don't get me wrong, July will be great, but I love June because no one seems to worry. It's hard to worry when things begin to so fastly approach.. For my age group everyone is more worried about school because it is one month closer. I am so thankful for June because it seems less stressful, but also because of some things I got to do. For example I went to Washington DC with my aunt and best friends, I attended my orientation and made some pretty cool friends, TCU made it to the college World Series, I saw Bruno Mars live in concert, I ate Pasta Salad (that's for another time), I spent time at the two different state pageants cheering on my friends, and so much more. All these make wonderful memories that I am forever thankful for and the best part is that they were stress free!!! So here's to June 2014 and all it's fun relaxed memories. Remember it's important to have fun and make memories regardless of what else is going on. Li ve in the moment this next month. You and I will both take this advice. How about that? Next month I'm ready!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way.
