Back to the real world is a hard hard place to go. I am officially back in Texas territory and I am officially wishing Labor Day was Labor Week. Getting back in the swing of things is so hard. Two fun pool days that were equally relaxing is making it hard to think of class, but it must be done.
I am super thankful for my good friend Patrick for taking me home with him this weekend. I am so so thankful for his family who welcomed me with open arms. They were so great to me this weekend! Between many great meals and fresh laundry, I am feeling so blessed going back to TCU! I will definitely be back to Duncan, OK, in the near future. Thank you so much to the Sullivan family for treating me like one of their own this weekend!
I loved this weekend. In fact, I am now trying to find someway to start it all over again! You know you've had a good time when you don't want to leave! It was seriously such a relaxing Labor Day weekend. Just what I needed after a crazy first couple of weeks back in school.
Prayers for encouragement and wisdom as tests will begin to start and as the semester continues to fly by. The sophomore slump is a real thing! I am super excited to see what God has planned for me the rest of the semester, but at the same time I'm a little scared. It's so exciting and I'm just trying to enjoy it and stay positive!
Thanks again to the Sullivan family for your tremendous hospitality this weekend! I can't really explain how much I enjoyed being back in a small town!
Thankful for friends, a good time, rest, summer, and a God who loves me so so much! Have a great week y'all! Make it one full of thanks!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way. A recent graduate from Texas Christian University who loves any creative insta post, all donuts, and dress pants that make you do a double take. I pray God has a grand purpose for me and I plan to get there with a little Southern and a lot of Thanks! Join me!
