Mondays always end up being 10 times better when you start them with a tour. In case you didn't know, I am a tour guide at TCU and I give tours for special programs for students. Monday at TCU is one of those and what that means is that around 4 times a semester we have these days that are special to seeing TCU. On Mondays at TCU, this semester, we have had a lot of seniors who are trying to make that big decision and then juniors who are preparing to make that big decision. Today was a great Monday at TCU because the weather was absolutely prefect. This is probably the first tour where the weather was so nice! I got to wear shorts, the flowers were blooming, the birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and hopefully future honored frogs were accepting. Apparently when the weather is nice it makes a big difference in the amount of students who decide to join TCU. I mean if you think about it, it makes sense. On days where it has been rainy or cloudy, our campus doesn't look as nice. No matter what, we are always fun and energetic, but when the weather's so great that helps.
Also, if you follow me on any social media the you know that I take a selfie with every one of my tour groups... its my thing! So attached below is our selfie from today. What a great group we had today! What a great group I always seem to have. I just hope that I and my sweet co have been helpful because all we want is for potential families to fall in love with TCU like we did.
Today, I also got a huge slap in the face. Okay, not literally, but still. THERE ARE ONLY 36 DAYS LEFT IN THE SEMESTER. I REPEAT 36. How in the world is that even possible? I kind of had to stop and take it all in because I feel like I just started. Funny how fast time passes isn't it? One day I will look back and remember writing this and I can almost guarantee I will want to go back so bad... Kind of makes me sad, but very happy at the same time.
Whoever you are I am hoping you are getting nice weather too. If not, hang in there. I promise it will come!
I am just thankful for the job I have in being a tour guide. Can I major in it, maybe? Now wouldn't that be sweet!
Also, I hope you all are preparing your hearts and minds for this coming week... I love Easter. I can't wait to be thankful for it. I mean I already am, but you know what I mean.
Have a great week!
Southern and Thankful
Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God's steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way. I pray God has a grand purpose for me and I plan to get there with a little Southern and a lot of Thanks! Join me!
